Come support Dance Marathon at UVA and the UVA Children’s Hospital all day at this year’s main event on Saturday, February 23!!!

It’s $10 to get in all day, $10 for a shirt, or $15 for both. Entry at Boylan to see the pledge class dance off is $5. There will be free food all day, bounce houses, a 200 ft. obstacle course and special performances by the Virginia Gentlemen, AVP, Hoos in Treble, Salsa, and other awesome groups! Come by between 3 and 4PM to meet the Women’s Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketball Teams and the Men’s Wrestling Team.

From 12-4pm Family Hours will be held at Mem Gym. Families and patients from the UVA Children’s Hospital will be there showing their gratitude and thanks for our support. During this time dancers are able to meet, talk, and dance with the children they are actually affecting through Dance Marathon.

Dance Marathon is proud to announce the 2011 Marathon will be held February 26th from 10 am – 11pm.

Memorial Gym 10 -6 pm
Trinity 6 -11 pm
can’t register to dance, purchase a ticket, attend the marathon and support the 2010-2011 dancers

With performances by New Dominions, Hoos in Treble, AVP, Mahogany Dance, and more! Memorial Gym will feature delectable meals provided by College Inn, Cicis, Raising Canes, UVA Dining, Ben & Jerrys, and Wayside Chicken. There will also be a bounce house, mechanical bull, sumo suits and more surprises to come for dancers.

There is still time to register!!! Dancers are encouraged to raise $110 to reach the dancer goal. Dancers can register up until the 23rd of February and if you are passionate about reaching your dancer goal – our leadership team will help you get there!

For those not familiar with UVA’s campus:
Where is Memorial Gym & where can I park? Memorial Gym is located at 210 Emmet Street South, Charlottesville VA 22903 between the tennis courts and the University Bookstore Parking, also across from Alumni Hall. Visitors are encouraged to park in the University Bookstore Parking lot and parking will be validated with attendance for Dance Marathon.
